Terms of use (EULA)
Last updated: July 4, 2026
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Boother, operated by an independent developer based in Malaysia (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Boother app, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Who can use Boother
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Boother account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything done under your account.
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Boother app to run your own convention-selling business. You may not resell the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to build a competing service.
Your content
Everything you create in Boother — products, photos, prices, sales records, order forms — is yours. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and display that content in order to provide the service (including showing shared booth records to your booth co-members and your published order forms to your customers), and nothing more.
You are responsible for your content: only upload photos and information you have the right to use.
You are the seller, not us
Boother is a record-keeping and order-collection tool. We are not a party to any sale between you and your customers, and we are not a payment processor — the app takes no payments and processes no refunds. Payment happens directly between you and your customers using the instructions you publish. You are solely responsible for:
- fulfilling the orders you accept;
- handling your customers’ personal data (names, contacts, addresses, payment proofs) lawfully — it is collected on your behalf and is your business record;
- your taxes and compliance with the laws of wherever you sell.
Acceptable use
Do not use Boother for anything unlawful, to sell goods you may not lawfully sell, to upload content that infringes others’ rights, or to interfere with the service or other users’ data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Boother and delete your account at any time from the app or at bootherapp.com/delete-account. Deletion is permanent: your personal data is removed as described in the privacy policy, and anonymized booth records shared with other sellers remain for their accounting.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Boother is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free — keep your own backups of records that matter to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
App store terms
If you downloaded Boother from the Apple App Store or Google Play: this agreement is between you and us, not with Apple or Google; they have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and are not responsible for it; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement with the right to enforce it against you. Your use must also comply with the store’s own terms of service.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If we change them, we will update this page and its “last updated” date; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions? Contact support@bootherapp.com.
